CROCODILE DOCK VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL |
NEW JOBS NETWORK FORUM
Nearly 20 people attended the inaugural meeting, including employed and retired members of the church. Those in job transition are invited to meet on the first and third Tuesdays of the month in the Calvin Center from 7:00-8:00PM.
After a brief introduction by the facilitators, anyone seeking employment will be invited to share their "elevator speech" which states their professional background and what opportunities they seek. After a one-minute introduction, anyone can respond by providing tips or giving an affirming reaction. Employed members of the church are strongly urged to attend these meetings to provide spiritual and social support. Please contact John Samota at scottsdale.sam@gmail.com or Cic Cicolello at vpccic@yahoo.com for more information or to assist in this ministry.
VPC MEMBERS: WE NEED YOUR INPUT!We are inviting you to prayerfully nominate those members whom you feel would best serve our church in leadership positions. Nominations are now being requested for the important positions of Deacons, Elders, and Trustees of the Foundation. The term of service for these positions is three years and would commence in February, 2010. Download an information brochure and recommendation form that you can print by clicking here.

If not, copies are available in the church office or by clicking here.
FAMILY PICTURE DIRECTORY
We are publishing a simple picture directory for all the families in the church who have children eighteen years and younger. Anyone who wants to be in this directory please send a photo of your family (along with names) to Sheri Meston at sherimeston@myvalleychurch.org. A brief online questionnaire is available by clicking here. This directory is a very important tool to help us develop our friendships.
